Friday, March 20, noon-2 p.m. Sun Earth Day on the Vernal Equinox at the Houston Museum of Natural Science Make your own sundial, try your hand at telling time, and use solar energy to etch your initials in wood. At 1 p.m., watch as the Museum’s Cockrell Sundial transforms to become a solar telescope showing the sun in action. Demonstration of solar cooking from 1 – 2 p.m. Planetarium astronomers will be on hand to answer all your burning sun science questions.
